8am 5K (1st Run/Walk)
8am TRIDENT (Run / Swim / Paddle)
10am 5K (2nd Run/Walk)
11 am: 1 Mile Fun Run (age 4 to 11)
(There is parking for both 5K races and Trident in the Jacksonville Beach city parking before 9:00 am. To be safe with parking, carpool and arrive an 1.5 to 1 hour early. Remember to stretch, hydrate and enjoy the pre-race events)
The National Anthem will be sung as the USSOCOM Para-Commandos Parachute team assembles to display one of the most amazing jumps on Jacksonville Beach this Sunday morning. Get ready for one amazing start to a race and a great day for everyone!
The course is an out and back. Starting in front of the Quality Suites Oceanfront hotel. The route will run South and turn around at 25th Ave South and return North. Run along the beautiful, hard packed, low tide Jacksonville Beach sand. This is a perfect, wide-open, safe beach course for running. Water stations will be set up at the start/finish and along the course.
You can register for one or both of the 5k’s or Trident and a 5k. (8 or 10am)
THE FOLLOWING IS A DESCRIPTION OF THE NEVER QUIT FINISHER PRIZES
(Necklace or Tifosi Sunglasses are only available for the 5K, Trident Relay and Trident Solo. Necklace is valued at $300, Sunglasses at $70)
MALE or FEMALE FINISHERS in the 5K or Trident Relay/Solo can select a Sterling Silver Dog Tag pendant, Sea Turtle, Nautilus Shell necklace or Tifosi Sunglasses as their finisher medal:
Necklace: The 2013 custom sterling silver dog tag pendant is a one of a kind and is appraised at $300. New for 2013, males can receive the pendant as their finisher medal.
You can also select the Sea Turtle or Nautilus shell necklace as your finisher prize.
If a female or male registers and completes both 5k’s OR the 8am Trident Relay leg or the Solo Trident and the 10am 5k they can receive 2 different colored dog tag pendant, or the Sea Turtle or Nautilus shell necklace. (You must select your choices during online registration)
(Necklace includes chain and box) You may select a necklace or sunglasses as your finisher prize, or mix it up if you do both 5k’s or the Trident and 5K.
Sunglasses: Tifosi sunglasses: value approximately $70. If a participants registers and completes both 5k’s OR the 8am Trident Relay leg or the Solo Trident and the 10am 5k they receive 2 finisher medals
2 Necklaces, 2 Sunglasses or a combination of the two may be selected if you do tow runs. (You must select your choice during online registration) Males can select a sunglasses or necklace as their finisher prize, and mix it up if you do both 5k’s or the Trident and 5K. (Necklace includes chain and box. Men, you can now run for the lady and give your finisher prize to her, showing her how much you love and will NEVER QUIT for her)
1 Mile Fun Run: Start time is 11am.
Age 4 to 11.
- Parents can run this 1 Mile Fun Run with your kids for free. This is a great time to encourage your kids to take up running, and do it with them, along the oceans edge.
The 1 Mile Fun Run will receive a shirt at packet pick-up and finisher item (tbd) at the finish line.
If your child would like the necklace or sunglasses, they will have to complete the 5K or the Trident. (They must be of age to complete the 5K or Trident) (For the 5k it is 4 years or older)
- Anyone over the age of 11 can not register for the 1 Mile Fun Run.
- In order for a person over the age of 11 to receive a wrist band, they must compete in the 5k or Trident.
- Parents are encouraged to run with their kids.
- Parents, please know that you will not be allowed into the Sea Walk Pavilion without a wrist band, and you must be a participant to receive a wrist band.
- Your child will need a legal guardian to enter into the Sea Walk Pavilion so please make sure you are registered for the 5K or Trident so you can enter in with your child.
It will be an early summer, morning run, so remember to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.

What is the minimum age for the 1 Mile Fun run?:
4 years with parent (Under 4 years old get in free with the parent to all event areas.)

4 years old with parent running/walking with you
What is the minimum age for the 5K portion of the Trident Relay?
6 years old
What is the minimum age for the Trident Swim and Paddle?
11 years old
Can we have a stroller in the run?
Yes, but you need to be in the very back of the group of runners. ie., at the back of the start line.
