5K RUN/WALK

The 5K Race

The 5K begins at 8:00 AM. Planes perform air show fly bys until start of race. The National Anthem will be performed by US NAVY quartet. A prayer, and then the race will start! Get ready,this will be one amazing start to a race, and one great day for everyone!

The course is an out and back USATF certified course. Run along the beautiful shoreline at low tide on the hard packed sand breathing the fresh morning ocean air as the sun rises over the Atlantic. On this day, runners will not feel packed in, running on top of each other, so it is a perfect, wide-open safe course for running. Water stations will be set up at the start/finish, 1.5 mile mark, and the turn around point.

The 1 Mile Fun Run

The 1 Mile Fun Run begins at 9:00 AM. The Fun Run is for participants 12 and under. An adult has to participate in one of the Never Quit Beach Fest events to sign up anyone 12 and under.
