Body Marking

The following items will detail how to mark your body for the TRIDENT events.

Please mark yourself at home before arriving to the race!

Please mark both of your legs, on the front side and facing outward, with your number in a dark black/similar color permanent marker.  It’s a good idea to use rubbing alcohol to clean your skin first and write your number VERY clearly on your body.

Proceed to carefully mark yourself or have a friend mark you with your number on both of your arms, either upper arm if you do not have sleeves (between shoulder and elbow), or lower arm (between elbow and wrist). Make sure your number faces forward, and is not on the inside, or on the far outside of your arm. It must be clearly read and recognizable.

Extra tips:
Men, you can keep your swim goggles around your neck while you run, and your swim camp in a pocket or in the waist band of your swimsuit.
- Women, you may keep your swim goggles around your neck while running, and your swim camp in the shoulder of your rash guard or in the waist band of your swimsuit. Make sure your numbers are marked clear on your body – we need them so we can tag you in pictures!
